AI

Last updated November 1, 2026

Dictators vs Democracies is designed by people. We use AI as a tool to build it faster, and a person checks everything it makes.

Code

We write code with AI assistants. People decide what the game does and how it plays, and we review every change before it ships.

Art

The card and leader art is made with AI image tools from prompts we write. We review every image and redo the ones that miss. Leaders are real people drawn as propaganda-poster caricatures, not photographs, and they aren't meant to pass for one.

Your data

The game doesn't use AI while you play. Your moves, chat messages, and surveys aren't sent to an AI service or used to train one.

Spot a mistake?

If a historical fact, a card, or an image looks wrong, please let us know.
